Elliott Lanham and Kennedie Hyde got married Saturday, June 15, at the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic. They will have a reception in Gatesville on June 29.
Kinsley McPherson attended the Texas 4-H Equine Ambassador short course in Lubbock. She will be serving in a state leadership role this year promoting the 4-H horse project and educating young people.
Ruby Pruett and Jacklyn Pullen, of Rock Wall, and Julia, Brooke, and Reese Dixon, of Liberty Hill, visited with Kenneth Dixon, Kari Belt, Sara Jo Poynter, and their families Thursday through Sunday. Kay Branham visited Paxton Brack and Sue Jones Wednesday afternoon.
Mound Cowboy Church and White Mound Baptist Church held their VBS last week, Sunday through Thursday. There were 48 kids enrolled. They had a water slide for family night.
