After first being postponed due to bad weather, the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce was able to host its Spring Swing Golf Classic tournament this past Saturday on May 11.
The tournament was hosted at the Gatesville Country Club and was attended by many folks within the community.
With over 20 sponsors, each hole on the course was sponsored by a local organization in town to benefit the event. The donations raised from the tournament will go towards a scholarship fund for the seniors of the Junior Chamber Commerce.
A lunch was provided after the tournament, which was catered by Bare Bones Barbeque.
The Gatesville Country Club is located at 1308 Golf Course Road.
