Jonesboro Independent School District will hold a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) back to school prayer meeting and worship night for students on Sunday, Aug. 20. The meeting will be held in the Jonesboro ISD gym at 6:30 p.m.
Jonesboro ISD FCA has presented their 21 days of prayer which includes prayers for the school board, administration, teachers, students, the school year, all athletics programs, coaches, the playground, support staff, cafeteria staff, physical safety, the school to fulfill the Lord’s purpose, friends, Jonesboro, caring teachers, new teachers, the lunchroom, technology protection, gym fellowship, spiritual growth that leads to revival, and to give the school year to the Lord.
Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.
