Live Oak Baptist Church is scheduled to host a family picnic and kite day on Sunday, April 2. This will begin immediately after Sunday morning worship, starting at approximately noon. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and a kite, if possible.
Palm Sunday took place one week before the resurrection of Christ. It marks the triumphant arrival of Jesus entering Jerusalem and being greeted by the people waving palm branches.
The following Sunday, April 9, Live Oak Baptist Church will have an Easter egg hunt for children starting at 9:45 p.m.
