The Oglesby Junior High Tigers football team traveled to Coolidge on Thursday, Sept. 26 to play the Coolidge Junior High Yellowjackets.
The Tigers scored the first 13 points of the game, however, a strong comeback by the Yellowjackets put Coolidge in front for a 25-13 victory.
Brody Martinez had nine carries for 80 yards and one 11-yard touchdown run as well as one point-after-touchdown (PAT). Martinez also had a 75-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Rancher Jeffcoat had two carries for 21 yards. Hunter Insall had one 30-yard touchdown pass. Judson Marquez had one carry for five yards.
Defensively for Tigers
Brody Martinez had seven tackles. Hunter Insall had five tackles. AJ Mafra had six tackles. Rancher Jeffcoat had two tackles. Caiden Brinkley had four tackles. Dexter Veranz had two tackles. Slayton Fisher had one tackle and one fumble recovery.
