The Oglesby Red JV Red Tiger football team traveled to Jonesboro on Thursday, Sept. 26 to play the Jonesboro Eagles. The Tigers faced a very tough Jonesboro Eagle team. The Eagles beat the Oglesby tigers in a convincing 55 - 6 win. The Tigers played hard but were outmanned by the Jonesboro Eagles.
Offensively for the Tigers
Callen Webb had eight carries for 12 yards. Webb was 6/12 passing for 41 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown pass to Camden Webb. Keegan Redford had four carries for 14 yards and two pass receptions for six yards. Camden Webb caught six passes for 31 yards including a 16-yard touchdown reception.
Defensively for the Tigers
Camden Webb had two tackles. Blayze Fisher had two tackles. Keegan Redford had one tackle. Ranger Dalton had one tackle and one fumble recovery. Couper Wulfkhule had one fumble recovery.
The Oglesby Red JV team traveled to Aquilla to take on the Cougars on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m. The results will be published in the Saturday, Oct. 12 edition of The Gatesville Messenger.
